Did You Hear About Our Candy Buy-Back Program?

October 26, 2012

By next Thursday, you and your kids will have had some time to enjoy the candy you collected on Wednesday’s trick-or-treating adventure. But maybe you were a little too successful, and the last thing you want is for your children to ruin their teeth on all those sweets. At the same time, though, you don’t want to throw any of it away—so what can you do?

Come to Premier Family Dental on Friday, November 2nd between 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm with your un-opened candy to participate in our special Waco candy buy-back program.

As part of our candy buy-back, Dr. Cofer will be buying candy for $1 per pound, and he’ll have a special goody bag for all of his young patients willing to participate. When our Waco candy buy-back campaign has been completed, we’ll work with Blue Star Moms to send all donations we receive to the brave men and women who protect our country by serving in the armed forces.

To find out more about Dr. Cofer’s candy buy-back program, call our Waco dental office or visit our website.

Make Your Child’s Next Checkup a Priority This Month

August 28, 2012

Every patient, regardless of age, should see their local dentist twice a year for checkups and cleanings. And for children, one of the best times to come in to Premier Family Dental for one of these visits is at the beginning of a new school year.

Why is the start of a new school year such a good time?

Because August is a clear dividing line between one part of the year and another. Even if August is actually the eighth month instead of the sixth, it feels like a halfway point, separating the spring and summer from fall and winter.

But there’s an even more significant reason than this to bring your child in now. Aside from dividing the year in half, it’s a good idea to schedule your child’s next visit with Dr. Cofer at a time when your son or daughter’s schedule is still relatively light. As the year progresses, your child will have more homework and projects to do, on top of extracurricular activities, making free time hard to come by. So it’s best to schedule your child’s next visit with our Premier Family Dental team now, especially since return visits may be needed to treat common oral health conditions like cavities or gum disease.

Are You Ready to Schedule a Visit?

If you’re ready to schedule your child’s next visit with Dr. Cofer, our Waco team is ready to help. Give us a call. Premier Family Dental proudly serves patients from Lorena, Robinson, Hewett, and surrounding towns.

Cosmetic Dentistry Care for Patients from Waco and Beyond

August 13, 2012

A beautiful smile can lead to a satisfying sense of self-confidence, but unfortunately, not everyone was born with a naturally dazzlingly smile. That’s why dentists like Dr. Cofer of Premier Family Dental in Waco offer cosmetic dentistry. With these great our-services, we can help patients enjoy a more attractive smile and improved self-confidence.

Our cosmetic dentistry our-services include:

Teeth Whitening

For some patients, over-the-counter teeth whitening products can be effective. For most patients, though, achieving a dramatically whiter smile takes a professional teeth whitening kit. At Premier Family Dental, we can provide you with a custom-made take-home teeth whitening kit that will help you achieve the kind of look you’ve been dreaming of. To find out more, visit the teeth whitening page on our website.

Porcelain Veneers

There are multiple reasons for considering porcelain veneers, another popular cosmetic dentistry service, but there are two that stand out. The first is that porcelain veneers let patients create a straighter-looking smile without the need for orthodontics. The second is that, like professional teeth whitening, porcelain veneers can also result in whiter smile. If you’ve been considering porcelain veneers for either of these reasons, or for another one, we’d love to talk to you.

Cosmetic Dental Bonding

If you have teeth that are only slightly chipped, misaligned, or imperfect, our Waco office also offers one-appointment dental bonding. During a dental bonding appointment, Dr. Cofer will correct imperfections using a composite resin that matches the shade of your teeth, resulting in teeth that look naturally beautiful and have a more pleasing shape.

If you’d like to find out more about any of these great our-services, call Premier Family Dental in Waco to schedule your consultation appointment. We provide excellent cosmetic dentistry care to patients from Lorena, Robinson, Hewett, and surrounding towns.

Complete Dental Implant Procedures under One Roof

July 30, 2012

Dental implants are one of the most popular and effective restorative dentistry our-services currently available. As much as that might be the case, though, not every dentist who offers dental implants can complete your entire procedure in their own office. But at Premier Family Dental in Waco, Dr. Rick Cofer can complete your entire dental implants procedure under one roof, without referring you to another doctor.

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are a restorative dentistry option for patients who need to replace one or more teeth. That makes them similar to traditional options, like bridges, partials, and full dentures, but implants also do something these others don’t—besides replacing your missing teeth, dental implants also replace your missing tooth roots.

That’s a key difference. By replacing your missing tooth roots, dental implants can help you prevent bone loss in your jaw. As a result, you end up with a strong, supportive smile that feels absolutely natural, something traditional bridges, partials, and full dentures can’t do.

The Dental Implants Process

There are two phases to the dental implants process. The first phase—placement—involves Dr. Cofer placing one or more implants in your jaw. Unlike other dentists, Dr. Cofer can do this right in his Waco office, using his 192-plus hours of study to back him up.

The second phase of the process—restoration—involves the attachment of your new crown, bridge, or denture. As with the placement phase, Dr. Cofer and his team can complete this aspect under our own roof, without need to refer you to another doctor.

Are you ready to find out more about dental implants? Dr. Cofer would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Call Premier Family Dental today to schedule your appointment. We serve patients from Waco, Lorena, Robinson, Hewett, and surrounding towns.
